The first thing I always do before I buy dance or sing games is to check the list of songs. The game itself can be the greatest but without great music behind it is worth nothing.
Let´s check the list of songs in Just Dance 4 for Wii U:
- Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes: "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" (you know it from Dirty Dancing, choreo is as well cheesy)
- Las Ketchup: "Asereje (The Ketchup Song)" (funny girly song, personally I do not like it, is a kind of stupid and boring, I never dance it)
- Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj: "Beauty and a Beat" (first time have heard it while using this game and I love it, the dance choreography is great here, too)
- Panjabi MCL: "Beware Of The Boys (Mundian To Bach Ke)"
- Carly Rae Jepsen: "Call Me Maybe" (a great song to begin the game, nice choreo)
- Boys Town Gang: "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"
- Emma: "Cercavo Amore" (only for girls, the singer screams like crazy, my husband hates it)
- Army of Lovers: "Crucified" (funny song and choreo)
- Rihanna: "Disturbia"
- Dancing Bros.: "Everybody Needs Somebody To Love" (great to dance with kids, they love funny moves there)
- Flo Rida: "Good Feeling" (great song and a great choreo!)
- Blu Cantrell: "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)"
- A.K.A: "Hot For Me"
- The Blackout Allstars: "I Like It"
- They Might Be Giants: "Istanbul" (great to dance with kids and only with kids)
- Elvis Presley: "Jailhouse Rock" (easy choreo, ok)
- Ricky Martin: "Livin' la Vida Loca" (my daughter and my husband love it and they dance it always)
- Selena Gomez and the Scene: "Love You Like A Love Song"
- Nelly Furtado: "Maneater" (scary scenario, boring choreo)
- Sergio Mendes: "Mas Que Nada"
- Maroon 5: "Moves Like Jagger" (fun to dance, love the song)
- Alexandra Stan: "Mr. Saxobeat" (nice choreo and the song is ok)
- Rick Astley: "Never Gonna Give You Up" (love it, love it, love it, the whole family, maybe because we love superheroes)
- Marina and The Diamonds: "Oh No!"
- Jennifer Lopez: "On The Floor" (great song and a great choreo)

- The B-52's: "Rock Lobster" (LSD choreo)

- Hit The Electro Beat: "We No Speak Americano" (ok song, ok choreo, used it twice, never danced it again)
- One Direction: "What Makes You Beautiful" (great choreo, the whole family love it)
- Will Smith: "Wild Wild West"
- Barry White: "You're The First, The Last, My Everything" (nice to watch if somebody else dance it)
- Carrie Underwood: "Good Girl" new! (North America exclusive)
- Bunny Beatz: "Make The Party (Don't Stop)" (love the choreo and love the song!)
When we use "Just Dance 4" we always use Biber, Minaj, Lopez, Flo Rida and Astley. That are the best songs with great choreos and music. The rest of the list we use sometimes.
The game has a great option: Puppet Show. While the music playing and your partner dancing you can change the style of the choreo. The styles there are just hilarious. Sometimes you can make him to strike a pose. This option is not available in the beginning. You have to earn it with points. A great TIPP for you - always use the same profile while using the game and dance together - it will help you to ear more point which open next options.
There are more things you can unlock with your points. For example an umbrella dance for Rihanna.
The great part of the game which is ignored in the beginning is the work out part. The work our part is done really good. It begins with an additional work out moves and than you have songs to dance. You cannot chose which song will be played but you can chose a theme. Our favorite is the boxing one. Great music. The latino theme is very pleasant to do and surprisingly the 60ties theme is very hard.
